Keri Fuge

Keri is the soprano soloist for the Mozart Requiem, Saturday 6th October at Stoke by Nayland.

I heard Keri wow the audience at this year's Handel Festival in London, and I am thrilled that she can join us for the Mozart Requiem.

This summer she works for Glyndebourne for the first time, understudying various roles, and she has already sung  Susanna for Dartington Opera, 1st Bridesmaid for Garsington Opera, and Frasquita in Carmen at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Keri won The Michael Oliver Prize in the London Handel Festival Competition 2011 and the Dame Anne Evans Most Promising Singer award in 2009, and is a Britten-Pears Young Artist. Concert engagements have included recitals at The Wigmore Hall, Aldeburgh, National Portrait Gallery and the Winchester and Llandeilo Festivals. She has sung with The London Handel Orchestra and L’Orchestra Baroque de Seillans.

Keri Fuge trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Marilyn Rees with the support of The Tillett Trust, The Stapley Trust, The Mario Lanza Trust, The Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation and private bursary from Lady Cave.
